Animal lover Carrie Ann Inaba is likely to give the subjects of her new show a purr-fect 10.

Inaba, who’s getting ready to kick off Dancing With the Stars season 14, has a new project in the works: She’s the executive producer of Crib Cat, a new web show scheduled to debut in March on Petsami’s YouTube channel, reports People.

The weekly show will put cats from no-kill shelters in the spotlight, in the hopes of finding them new homes. According to Petsami, “Crib Cat plays matchmaker between kitty and human, bringing great cats to deserving humans everywhere.”

"Time to Get Involved"

Inaba decided she wanted to do more to help animals after her beloved 19-year-old cat, Shadow, died in October.

"He was my best friend and had been through so much with me. After losing him, it made me realize that it's time to get involved,” she told People.

Even before that, the judge and dancer was involved in helping improve the lives of animals. She’s a celebrity ambassador for Best Friends Animal Society and will be hosting the Humane Society’s 26th Genesis Awards, airing on Animal Planet in May.

Inaba and her fiancé, Jesse Sloan, have a pet-filled home, including a Boxer and six cats.
