Illustrator Creates Silly Scenes for His Dog

When Brazilian artist Rafael Mantesso and his wife split up, he was left with an empty house — and his Bull Terrier, Jimmy Choo. That was all the inspiration he needed to create some awesome artwork.
“I had just divorced my ex-wife, who took all the furniture in the house, and the house was completely empty and white,” Mantesso told Bored Panda. “The only thing I had was Jimmy and an empty white house.”
The pooch, Mantesso’s “best friend and companion,” started posing for photos in front of the scenes the illustrator drew on the blank walls. It quickly led to a fun series on Instagram, where he now has more than 50,000 followers.
“I think Bull Terriers are an amazing breed — behavior, personality, the love they demonstrate to their owners, and especially their aesthetics,” Mantesso said.
We’ve included some of our favorite Jimmy Choo poses below. You can see many more on Instagram.
