A cat shelter in Westminster, Colo., outfitted a young kitten named Braveheart with a prosthetic leg.
A passerby found the abandoned newborn feline and his sister tangled in a thornbush and brought them to Almost Home Cat Shelter.
While the sister is in better condition, Colorado 9News reports on their site that Braveheart's back paws had to be amputated because his umbilical cord was wound too tightly around them.
Braveheart seems to be doing well with his new leg, but more surgeries, and possibly another prosthesis, will have to occur before this little guy is ready for adoption.
