Have you ever dreamed of living in an apartment that doubled as a treehouse? The birds who live in the mountainous forests of Komoro City, Japan get to do just that, in style!
Japanese design studio Nendo created an apartment-style bird treehouse for the Ando Momofuku Center, a facility in Japan that promotes and increases awareness of nature activities. The unique structure boasts 78 nesting spaces for our feathered friends on one side, and on the other side, there's a small room where a person can observe the birds through multiple peepholes. So without disturbing the nests, avian aficionados can truly get an up close view of the feathered creatures.
