There was a joy-filled reunion for a former Marine and his therapy dog Thursday, after she was found as a stray in San Diego. Nahla, who helps Fernando Quandt cope with post-traumatic stress disorder, ran away on Christmas Eve while Quandt and his wife were out of town visiting a sick relative. The dog was clearly overjoyed to see her owners again when they picked her up at the San Diego County Animal Shelter. "I’m just really happy to have her back," said Quandt. Nahla had lost weight and was suffering from skin issues but is expected to make a full recovery. — Watch it at NBC San Diego
