Maranda Elswick, DVM, is a Florida-licensed veterinarian with experience in both general practice and shelter medicine. She has a special interest in preventive care, end-of-life support, and helping pet parents understand their pets’ health through clear, compassionate guidance. Dr. Elswick is also the founder of The Meowing Vet, an educational resource that shares trustworthy pet health information for owners and veterinary professionals alike. She lives in Florida with her veterinarian husband, two dogs, and a cat and loves traveling when she’s not caring for pets.
