Many of us have jumped on the monthly subscription box bandwagon. Every time we receive a new BirchBox or KlutchClub delivery, it's a little like Christmas morning. But why should we have all the fun? What about our furry friends?

Fear not, friends. We've dug up a few fun possibilities that'll have your pets greeting the mailman with a wagging tail each and every month.

Bugsy's Box

Who it's for: Dogs only

Starting price: $17/month

Good to know: Each Bugsy's Box (so named for the founder's 3-year-old Pug) contains five to seven dog treats, toys, care items, health supplements and accessories, and often you'll find some bonus coupons tucked in as well. Plans are customized for small, medium and large dogs.

BarkBox

Who it's for: Dogs only

Starting price: $17/month

Good to know: You choose what size your dog is so that the products, which include everything from collars and toys to treats and shampoos and gadgets, are tailored to your pet's size. Then you select how much of a commitment you'd like to make. The bigger the commitment, the lower the price. Also, BarkBox has a giving program where 10 percent of proceeds are given to pups in need.

BestFriendBox

Who it's for: Cats or dogs

Starting price: $30/month

Good to know: Each month you'll receive three to six products ranging from natural treats to toys to grooming products, and all the products are vet-approved. You can tailor your order to be for cats, small dogs, medium dogs or large dogs. Like BarkBox, BestFriendBox also donates 10 percent of proceeds to animal-related charities.

Pawalla

Who it's for: Cats or dogs

Starting price: $21/month

Good to know: Products from Pawalla include all-natural wet foods, treats, supplements, toys and other essentials — all selected by a pet nutritionist. You customize your selection by cat or dog (under or over 25 pounds) as well as by age. Pawalla also has a store, so if you receive a product your pet positively loves, you can easily find more.
