Donna Spector, DVM, DACVIM

Dr. Donna Spector is a board-certified veterinary internal medicine specialist who received her veterinary degree from Michigan State University. She has practiced at The Animal Medical Center in New York City, the University of California, Davis, and other leading institutions.

Dr. Spector is an active member of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association.

She has written and lectured extensively on such topics as nutrition, feline diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, kidney failure and respiratory disease. Dr. Spector is also a consulting veterinarian to HALO, Purely for Pets, and can be heard weekly on her radio show, The Expert Vet, on Tracie Hotchner’s Radio Pet Lady™ Network.

Dr. Spector currently practices in the northern Chicago area.
