Kristen Seymour

Kristen Seymour is a writer and editor living in Gainesville, Fla. She shares her office with her husband, a cat and two mixed-breed dogs, one of whom prefers to be beneath the desk, on Kristen's feet, particularly when major deadlines are looming. So, all the time, really.

In addition to scouting the latest pet trends and keeping up with her writing and editing duties for Vetstreet, Kristen is also an editor for Fit Bottomed Girls, where she covers health and fitness (with a healthy dose of humor ... and humility).

When she's not writing or watching cute cat videos (for work, obviously), Kristen is active in her local pet rescue community. Although as far as handing out treats goes, her dogs would prefer the charity start at home. She also participates in triathlons (where she’s been known to stop and pet a furry spectator or two as a pick-me-up) and loves traveling to new places.
