My own dog loved to play tug of war with his monsters, fetch them for me, or simply give them a good long chewing while relaxing in his bed.

Safety

Since these toys truly are harder to destroy, they are generally safer than toys that can be torn apart quickly.  The heavy duty fabric and reinforced seams reduce risk of rapid shredding and exposure of internal stuffing and squeakers. 

That said, supervision is still key. The toys have stuffing/squeakers/crinkles. Even if the outer shell is tough, parts like ears, limbs or seams may become weak spots. Heavy chewers can eventually damage any toy, and dogs who swallow pieces, like the squeaker, may need veterinary attention. As with all chew toys, you should inspect them regularly and replace them when needed.

My dog hasn’t been able to remove the squeaker from any of the toys over two weeks into having them.
