Bite Force Dog Toys Review
Published on November 06, 2025
If you’ve ever spent money on a dog toy only to watch your pup destroy it in minutes, this review is for you. Bite Force dog toys promise a different outcome. Their toys are marketed as durable, safe, and built for dogs with serious chewing power. But are they truly indestructible, and are they safe? As a veterinarian and dog mom, I tested several of their most popular toys to find out.
What Is Bite Force?
Bite Force makes durable (and adorable) plush toys that stand up to even the most aggressive chewer. Their mission is simple: design toys that last longer. The toys are built with Kevlar™ enforced woven fabric, multiple layers, and reinforced seams for tougher play. The manufacturer even offers a one-time free replacement if your dog manages to destroy the toy prematurely.

A Closer Look at Bite Force Dog Toys
Toy Design & Appeal
Visually, these toys look fun. They come in bright colors and a variety of character shapes (monsters with one eye, two heads, etc). The toys also include a built-in squeaker/crinkle feature for added canine engagement. Beyond the cute exterior, the double-lined plush fabric, internal heavy woven layer, and Kevlar™ yarn stitching are all intended to withstand hard chewing. My own dog loved to play tug of war with his monsters, fetch them for me, or simply give them a good long chewing while relaxing in his bed.
Durability & Materials
Kevlar™ is a high-tensile synthetic fiber most commonly known for bullet-proof vests and high-strength industrial uses. Its presence in a dog toy is a strong signal that Bite Force took durability seriously. Their toy fabric is specially selected for its strength and durability.
In my experience, these toys far outperformed standard plush options for my heavy chewer. Most of his toys are destroyed within hours, but these held up impressively, lasting several days of nonstop play before showing any wear. He was eventually able to tear into one but it’s rare to find a soft toy that stands up to that kind of enthusiasm.

Safety
Since these toys truly are harder to destroy, they are generally safer than toys that can be torn apart quickly. The heavy duty fabric and reinforced seams reduce risk of rapid shredding and exposure of internal stuffing and squeakers.
That said, supervision is still key. The toys have stuffing/squeakers/crinkles. Even if the outer shell is tough, parts like ears, limbs or seams may become weak spots. Heavy chewers can eventually damage any toy, and dogs who swallow pieces, like the squeaker, may need veterinary attention. As with all chew toys, you should inspect them regularly and replace them when needed.
My dog hasn’t been able to remove the squeaker from any of the toys over two weeks into having them.
Comfort & Dog Engagement
Overall, these toys score well for giving dogs both comfort and play:
- The plush outer provides familiar texture and comfort (dogs often like stuffed animals).
- The squeaker/crinkle element adds interest and encourages play.
- For chewers who also like plush toys (versus only rubber or rope), this line bridges the gap between comfort and durability.
In my testing, my dog carried the plush monster around, chewed on limbs, squeaked it, tugged it, whereas with fragile plush toys he would quickly destroy them and then discard them.
If your dog prefers plush toys but is destroying them rapidly, this is a great option.

Are Bite Force Toys Safe and Practical?
Bite Force toys hit a sweet spot between toughness and safety. They’re best suited for medium to large dogs, working dogs, or any pup with a strong bite who destroys typical toys within minutes. Owners of moderate or light chewers may find them overbuilt for their needs.
Still, for dogs who can’t resist demolishing everything in sight, Bite Force toys provide both durability and peace of mind. They’re less likely to shred into fragments, making them a safer investment in the long run.
It’s important to remember: no dog toy is truly indestructible. Even the best designs can wear down over time, and supervision is essential. But compared to most “tough” toys on the market, Bite Force earns high marks for lasting power and safety.
Where to Buy & Pricing
Bite Force dog toys are available at PetSmart. Prices range from $16.99 to $29.99, depending on size and design. The brand also offers a satisfaction guarantee, which allows customers to request a replacement if the toy fails prematurely.
Shipping is fast and packaging is minimal but professional. The toys arrive with care instructions and size recommendations, which helps prevent mismatched purchases (a common reason toys fail too soon).
Final Verdict: Are Bite Force Toys Worth It?
For serious chewers, Bite Force dog toys are a worthy investment. They combine safety, enrichment, and impressive longevity in one package. While no toy is 100% indestructible, they come closer than other toys I’ve tried.
Best for:
- Large-breed or working dogs
- Aggressive chewers who destroy toys quickly
- Pet parents seeking long-term value and safety
Less ideal for:
- Toy breeds or light chewers
- Owners on a tight budget
Overall, Bite Force dog toys live up to their reputation as some of the toughest, safest chew toys on the market. If your dog can turn a toy into dust in minutes, these may finally be the match you’ve been looking for.
