Our pets are all adorable, but pets dressed up? Even cuter! Today is Dress Up Your Pet Day, and to celebrate, we wanted to share some of our favorite user-submitted photos of cats and dogs — and other critters — dressed in their festive best. Because seriously, who can resist a Yorkie in a cowboy hat? Not us!

And, just a reminder: Not all pets enjoy wearing clothes, and there’s nothing cute or stylish about an anxious, fearful animal. If your pet is at all resistant to wearing clothes, don’t force it. Some pets are at their cutest  — and happiest — without any extra accessories.
