When you think of an anteater, “cute” isn’t always the first word that comes to mind.
But this 1-month-old, clinging to mom Adelhi’s back at Busch Gardens Tampa, is undeniably adorable. Anteater babies, who nurse for about six months, get a lift on their mom's back for up to a year.
When fully grown, this infant will likely tip the scales at more than 100 pounds. For now, though, the baby — whose gender isn’t known yet — weighs less than 5 pounds.
