We admit we’re biased toward toys that allow us to pass our passion for the animal kingdom on to the next generation, but this clever puzzle from the MoMA design store lets us check all our boxes under the category “perfect present.”
When taken apart, it becomes a stencil set that teaches toddlers some of the most fun animal shapes (whale, hippo, elephant, turtle, bird).
Put the pieces back together inside the belly of the whale and you start to understand what things must have looked like from poor old Jonah’s perspective. Best of all? No batteries required.
