Puppies Abandoned in a Suitcase Find Forever Homes
Last month, six Bulldog mix puppies were found inside a suitcase that had been left in an alley behind a Toledo, Ohio, grocery. The Toledo Area Humane Society has since found all of the pups, dubbed the "Suitcase 6" — and their mom — loving homes after receiving 132 adoption applications. “If you still have the space in your heart and in your home, check out the animals at your local shelter," said Cyndi Condit, who works for the Toledo Area Humane Society. Meet Moses, the Internet’s Latest Feline Sensation
When two couples in Tennessee found Moses the Cat, he was so small that they weren’t even sure what he was. “He looked like a little mouse,” one of his rescuers told ABC News. “None of us had ever seen a kitten that small.” They took in the 4-ounce stray, who was just a few days old when his mom was hit by a car, and started a blog called Moses the Cat about his progress — complete with adorable videos. Ohio Changes Stance on Blanket "Vicious" Pit Bull Label
According to law, the state had defined a vicious dog as one that seriously hurt or killed a person, killed another dog or was simply a Pit Bull. In a victory for animal rights activists, a new measure removes the reference to the Pit Bull breed — and instead states that dogs in Ohio can only be labeled as vicious if they do something that warrants it. — Read it at the AP via the Huffington Post

In an interview for a documentary about Queen Elizabeth II, the prince said that his grandmother’s beloved Welsh Corgis and Corgi-Dachshund mix dogs cause quite a ruckus.
