Rarely will you find a better hide-and-seek player than a cat. They’re experts at squeezing into tight spaces — especially when it’s a cardboard box — and there’s no doubt that their cunning and clever minds help them find the perfect hiding spots.
We found some cats who are true experts at hide-and-seek, plus a few more who, um, need a little more practice. Here’s their advice.
If the rug is already rumpled, why not?
Never pass up a good opportunity for camouflage.
If you’re tiny enough to fit under shelving units, go for it.
Hide inside kitty furniture! No one will ever think to look for you there!
Uh, this is not how it works.
Also definitely not how it works.
OK, let’s try this again. Take a cue from your wild ancestors.
Choose a hiding spot you can zip up.
Or one you can move into a corner.
Or one that can’t be seen from above.
If nothing else, at least pick one that’s comfortable.
Basically, just call upon your inner cat and you will be unbeatable.
